  • Overall Impression: Great boutique hotel in a great location
  • Style: Modern Mexican
  • Location: Close to the main square, with tons of little shops in between
  • Rooms: Spacious, highly recommend getting the signature suite with it's own private rooftop patio
  • Amenities: Some rooms have a little fire place outside

San Jose del Cabo, Mexico

Hotel: Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort

When: May 2017

FEATURED ATELIER AMENITY:

  • Margarita & Ceviche tasting for two, once during stay

OVERVIEW

HIGHLIGHTS: The service is fantastic. We prefer not to eat butter and for breakfast the next morning, they made us chocolate chip muffins with no butter. They have so many small details that you would never pick up, but since there are so many of them, you start to realize that they know what they are doing and this is not their first rodeo.

  • Food: Tequila and Ceviche Bar was my favorite!
  • Service: Very gracious hosts - knew our name immediately
  • Technology: Top notch communication between the staff members to service guests. Wifi could use a little boost outside of rooms.
  • Family or Pet Friendly: Nanny program, no kids club
  • In the know: Go to one of the other pools for more privacy and they have an easily accessible beach, even though it is not swimmable.
  • Overall Impression: No words
  • Style: Hacienda heaven (feels like Arizona on the beach)
  • Location: 20 -25 minutes from SJD Airport
  • Rooms: From the Junior Suite to the Villas, they are MASSIVE!
  • Amenites: Bvlgari bathroom products and 7 pools around the expansive property - except the adults only pool is technically 2 pools, but they count the area as 1.
